The India Central Asia Foundation (ICAF) organised a two-day international seminar at the India International Centre on Asia: “India-Central Connectivity, Security, and Sustainable Partnership in a Multipolar World,” bringing together policymakers, schol-ars, and strategic experts to discuss the evolving regional landscape. Inaugurating the two-day international seminar-organ-ised by the Ministry of External Affairs and sponsred by MERI Group Institutions. of In his inaugural address, for-mer Foreign Secretary Kanwal Sibal highlighted Central Asia’s growing impor-tance in India’s foreign policy, describing it as part of India’s “extended neighbourhood.’ He stressed that stronger engagement with the region is critical for addressing shared concerns such as extremism, energy security, and shifting geopolitical dynamics.

A two-day international seminar on “India-Central Asia: Connectivity. Security, and Sustainable Partnership in a Multipolar World” was organised by the India Central Asia Foundation at India International Centre, New Delhi. Former Foreign Secretary and JNU Chancellor Kanwal Sibal, inaugurating the event, stressed that stronger ties with Central Asia are crucial for India’s security, energy needs and strategic balance, highlight-ing the role of INSTC and Chabahar Port amid Pakistan-related connectivity constraints. Mayank Singh from the Ministry of External Affairs attended as distinguished guest. In the concluding session, Prof Lalit Aggarwal of MERI underscored reviving historic links between Bengal and Khwarazm through a “digital and educational superhigh-way.” Books by Prof Ramakant Dwivedi, Lalit Aggarwal and Kurlay Baizakova were also released.

इंडिया सेंट्रल एशिया फाउंडेशन (आईसीएएफ) ने मंगलवार को इंडिया इंटरनेशनल सेंटर में “भारत-मध्य एशियाः बहुध्रुवीय विश्व में कनेक्टिविटी, सुरक्षा और सतत साझेदारी” विषय पर दो दिवसीय अंतरराष्ट्रीय संगोष्ठी का आयोजन किया गया। पूर्व विदेश सचिव और जवाहरलाल नेहरू विश्वविद्यालय के कुलाधिपति कंवल सिब्बल ने संगोष्ठी का उद्घाटन किया। विदेश मंत्रालय के संयुक्त सचिव मयंक सिंह विशिष्ट अतिथि के रूप में उपस्थित रहे।

नई दिल्ली (वीअ)। मैनेजमेंट एजुकेशन एंड रिसर्च इंस्टीट्यूट के सी.आई.एस. विभाग के प्रमुख प्रोफेसर रमाकांत द्विवेदी को उत्तर प्रदेश की 18वीं शताब्दी की विश्व प्रसिद्ध रामपुर रज़ा लाइब्रेरी के अंतर्राष्ट्रीय शैक्षिक और सांस्कृतिक संबंध सलाहकार समिति का सदस्य नामित किया गया है। पुस्तकालय की अध्यक्षा, उत्तर प्रदेश की माननीय राज्यपाल की अध्यक्षता में संपन्न रामपुर रज़ा पुस्तकालय बोर्ड की 53वीं बैठक में प्रो. रमाकांत द्विवेदी को अंतर्राष्ट्रीय शैक्षिक और सांस्कृतिक संबंध सलाहकार समिति का सदस्य नामित किया गया।

नई दिल्ली में किर्गिज़ महाकाव्य ‘मानस’ के हिंदी अनुवाद में उनके योगदान के लिए किर्गिज़ गणराज्य की राष्ट्रीय मानस अकादमी (एनएएम) की अध्यक्ष सुश्री नाज़िरा आली किज़ी द्वारा एमईआरआई कॉलेज जनकपुरी के प्रोफेसर (डॉ.) रमाकांत द्विवेदी को गोल्डन पीक पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया गया।
यह सम्मान नई दिल्ली स्थित इंडिया इंटरनेशनल सेंटर में आयोजित एक विशेष समारोह में प्रदान किया गया। यह समारोह भारत सरकार के विदेश मंत्रालय के सहयोग से इंडिया सेंट्रल एशिया फाउंडेशन द्वारा आयोजित “भारत-मध्य एशियाः बहुध्रुवीय विश्व में संपर्क, सुरक्षा और सतत साझेदारी” विषय पर एक अंतर्राष्ट्रीय सम्मेलन के अवसर पर आयोजित किया गया था।
