The Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in New Delhi, Celebrated 30th anniversary of its Independence Day on December 10, 2021. Ms. Meenakshi Lekhi, Minister of State for External Affairs of India was the Chief Guest and the other guests at the event included prominent Indian politicians, Academicians, business executives, scientists, journalists, foreign diplomats and representatives of the Kazakh diaspora in India.

 

The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to India N. Zhalgasbayev in his welcome remarks reviewed the results of the year and noted the positive dynamics of Kazakhstan-Indian relations. He also highlighted the achievements of Kazakhstan in a short period of time. The chief guest also in her congratulatory speech, noted Kazakhstan’s progress in such a short space of time and highlighted the that India and Kazakhstan was getting closer than ever before.

 

The programme of the evening included a short video about the country’s achievements over the three decades of Independence, as well as the key milestones in the development of Kazakhstan-India relations which also mark the 30th anniversary in February 2022. There was a musical performance by artists from Kazakhstan.
